Account Manager

What you will own.
Give clients a dependable commercial point of contact and give internal teams an accurate account of what has been agreed. Protect trust by connecting expectations, scope, decisions and the realities of delivery.
Relevant experience
Typically 3+ years managing B2B client accounts in an agency, software or professional services environment.
Your responsibilities.
- Maintain relationships with client stakeholders and keep account priorities, decisions and commercial context up to date.
- Coordinate client communication, account reviews and scope discussions with the people responsible for the work.
- Clarify change requests and their implications before new commitments are made, involving the relevant delivery and commercial owners.
- Support renewals and expansion conversations where relevant, using a clear understanding of needs and delivery capacity.
- Partner with the Customer Satisfaction Manager, who focuses on adoption and outcomes, to maintain a complete view of account health.
What you bring.
- Experience managing ongoing client relationships, including difficult expectations, changing scope and competing stakeholder priorities.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to discuss value, trade-offs and commitments clearly.
- Excellent written communication, meeting discipline and a reliable record of decisions and follow-up.
- The confidence to surface risk early and coordinate a solution without making commitments on another team’s behalf.
