What you will own.
Turn well-defined engineering tasks into working, reviewable software. Bring existing shipping experience, a careful approach to debugging and the willingness to understand the business process behind the code.
Relevant experience
Typically 1–3 years of development experience, or equivalent practical experience shipping and maintaining real software for users.
Your responsibilities.
- Implement scoped features, integrations and fixes under the direction of Daniel Derzic and Manzar Ali Anjum.
- Read the existing code and requirements before making changes, asking focused questions when behaviour is unclear.
- Connect APIs, work with application data and build interfaces or backend functionality appropriate to the assigned task.
- Debug issues, verify the behaviour you change and prepare clear pull requests for review.
- Document useful implementation context and follow through on review feedback and issues found after delivery.
What you bring.
- Evidence of software you have shipped beyond tutorials, with a clear explanation of your contribution and the users it served.
- Practical competence in a modern application stack, Git, API integration and basic database work.
- The ability to debug systematically, read unfamiliar code and verify AI-assisted code before relying on it.
- Clear communication about progress and blockers, plus care with credentials, customer data and production changes.
What strong work looks like.
- Within your first 90 days, understand the team’s development and review process and ship useful scoped contributions.
- Produce changes that are understandable, tested appropriately and responsive to review.
- Build confidence working through the codebase while identifying when you need senior guidance.

- Share relevant repositories, live projects or a permitted walkthrough of shipped work; private commercial work can be described without exposing code.
- Explain one feature you delivered and one difficult bug you investigated, including how you checked the result.
